Welcome Letter

Dear Friend:

As you may know, the Friends of William & Mary Men’s Tennis organization was founded several years ago to help raise funds to significantly enhance our team’s operating budget.  Our membership has grown every year and includes more than 100 former players (i.e. team, intramural, weekend warriors), alumni, and other friends of the program.  Our goal was and is to help return our men’s tennis program to national prominence.  All of the funds raised by the organization are used to send the team to national tournaments and to help Coach Peter Daub recruit nationally ranked student-athletes to the College.    To date, we have raised more than $300,000 to support the program. 

Other goals of the Friends are to reconnect former players with the program, providing an additional vehicle to allow fans to follow progress on the court, serve as a vehicle to give current players a network to explore job opportunities, and to identify opportunities for volunteers to assist Coach Daub and the team.

Thanks to our many members, we have made a significant contribution to the Men’s tennis program at the College.   On behalf of the team, I want to thank you for your support in the past and hope that you will consider increasing your financial contribution this year and will encourage others to join our organization.
